Plan your special day for you and, not for your guests. A wedding should reflect the couple, and what they enjoy.
Social media allows us to see incredible ideas and inspiration, but it also put pressure on brides to create Instagram worthy events.
Remember your guests are coming to celebrate your union, not to criticize your decor, venue or bar offerings. My advice is to choose three or four items to focus on, and let all other things fall into place. If I were getting married again, I would select flowers (naturally), the band, caterer, and photographer.
The photos are all you have after your special day, don’t skimp on this!
These photos by Whitney Fox show some of the details from a wedding, I did last summer.
To recap, don’t feel like you have to have a Pinterest worthy wedding have fun!
